Danny Hudson U.S. Army Retired, Danny (Chuck) Hudson

Major Danny Hudson, beloved husband Annie Stokes Hudson, died at his home in Ellenwood, Georgia on Sunday, August 12, 2018. He was born in McCormick County (Plum Branch) on January 26, 1963 to Earnest Lee Hudson and the late Ethel Lee Morgan Hudson. He was a graduate of McCormick High School and SC State University. He served his Country in the US Army for over 25 years. He was a member of Pine Grove AME Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home, One daughter, Dannielle Hudson of the home; Two sisters: Jannie (Harold) Stevens, of Plum Branch and Lizzie Hudson of Trenton. Three brothers: Johnny (Debbie) Hudson of McCormick, , Franklin (Meisha) Hudson of Grovetown, and Charlie (Ventina) Hudson of Aiken. One Uncle, Floyd Seymore of Alexandria, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be Saturday, August 18 at 12 Noon at Pine Grove AME Church, Plum Branch with full Military Honors. Military Burial will be Monday, August 20th, 1 pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC.

Services are entrusted to Walker Funeral Home LLC, McCormick, SC.
