Dorothy Hall Obituary

Dorothy Louise Proctor Hall, 95, former resident of Hillcrest Drive and widow of Russell Fuller Hall, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at NHC of Greenwood.

Born December 13, 1929, in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Everette and Wilhamina Fuller Proctor. Mrs. Hall retired from Greenwood Mills - Greenwood Plant and was a longtime member of Woodfields Baptist Church.

She is survived by two nieces, Janet (Chris) Garrison and Phyllis Goree, both of Greenwood. She was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Joyce (Sonny) Oswald and Elizabeth (Otis) Lagrone; one niece, Linda Smith; and one nephew, Wayne Sargent.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Oakbrook Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Garrison officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Emerald Gardens and NHC of Greenwood for the compassionate care given to "LuLu" during her time at those facilities.

Memorials may be made to Caris Hospice, 446 E Cambridge Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646.
