Jeff Crisp Obituary
Born January 21, 1982, in Greenwood, he was the son of Eugene and Yvonne Buff Canfield.
Jeff dedicated his life to public service. He served as Chief of Police at Piedmont Technical College and previously spent 17 years with the Greenwood City Police Department, including service as a SWAT commander. He was also a devoted volunteer firefighter for 28 years, including seven years as Chief of the Ninety Six Fire Department.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration and received the FBI Trilogy Leadership Award in 2022. Jeff enjoyed working out, music, serving others, and spending time outdoors.
Above all, he was a devoted husband of 20 years and a loving father to Brantley and Landon.
Surviving are his wife, April, of the home; his parents of Greenwood; siblings and extended family. He was predeceased by his biological father, Jimmy Allen Crisp.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at NewSpring Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
