Linda Holladay Obituary

Linda M. Holladay Linda M. Holladay, 61, of 621 Highway 221 South, wife of Mark F. Holladay, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at Hospice House.

Born in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of the late Charles "Chuck" and Mary Moore McConnaughey. Linda was employed by Capsugel for thirty years and was a member of First Damascus Baptist Church. She enjoyed grilling on the deck, hikes in the mountains and spending time with her children and her granddaughter.

Surviving is her husband of the home; her daughter, Leanne Holladay; her son, Levi Holladay (Brandy), and her granddaughter, Harlyn-Kate Holladay, all of Greenwood; a sister, Lois LaRue of Greer; brothers, Ron McConnaughey of Black Eagle, MT and Chuck McConnaughey of Buffalo, NY; and her nephew, Charles, Samantha and children.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Holladay officiating. Burial will be in First Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her husband, Mark, her son, Levi, Terry Cason, Lyn Stuart, Mike Kelley and Joey Kelley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.

The family would like to express special thanks to all of Linda's work family at Capsugel, who she loved so dearly. All of the hospital visits were greatly appreciated. Also, special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont for their care in Linda's last hours.
