Madge Hodges Obituary

Madglene Martin "Madge" Hodges, 94, former resident of Hodges, widow of Ray Marion Hodges, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at The Maples of Honea Path.

Born August 12, 1928, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late O.K. Martin and Dora Taylor Martin. She was a graduate of Donalds High School and retired from Oxford Industries, Donalds division. She loved her friends and family and enjoyed her time at the Maples.

Mrs. Hodges was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Babb officiating.

Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 Sunday afternoon.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Maples as well as Hospice of the Upstate for their extended care of Mrs. Hodges.
