Maxie Campbell Obituary

Maxie Campbell Paul "Maxie" Campbell, 83, resident of 952 Hwy. 284 husband of Blanche Hall Campbell passed away Thursday Feb. 21, 2019 at his home.

Born Aug. 10, 1935 in Abbeville County SC he was a son of the late Paul Kistler Campbell and Verna McClain Campbell.

Maxie served as a member of the National Guard and retired as a Water Plant Operator with CPW. He was a devoted member of Bells United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends.

Survivors include: His beloved wife of 64 years Blanche Hall Campbell of the home; a daughter Tammy Faulkner (Jimmy) of Abbeville, SC; a son Dale Campbell of Taylors, SC; a brother Gary Campbell of Pelzer, SC; three grandchildren Hannah Sudduth, McKayla Stevenson and Madisen Faulkner; one great-grandson Lucas Sudduth.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday Feb. 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Bells United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Allen officiating. The family is at the home 952 Hwy. 284 Abbeville, SC.

Memorials in memory of Maxie may be made to Bells United Methodist Church, 2540 Flat Rock Rd. Abbeville, SC 29620.
