Michael Freeman Obituary
Born August 15, 1952, in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Vernon L. Freeman and Grace Pruett Freeman. A 1971 graduate of Ninety Six High School, he went on to graduate from Lander College in 1975. Mr. Freeman retired from Self Regional Healthcare after 41 years of dedicated service.
An avid Clemson fan and of the Baptist faith, Michael will be remembered as the "Best Husband Ever," a devoted provider, and the love of his wife, Mary Ann's life.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 33 years, are his sister, Sharon F. Cowan (Thomas) of Greenwood; two nephews, Danny Freeman (Jennifer) of Ninety Six, and Matthew Cowan of Greenwood; and his beloved Yorkie, Buddy.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Ralph Freeman, and a niece, Stacey Freeman.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
