Moses Bradley Obituary

Obituary for Moses Bradley Jr.

Moses Bradley Jr., born on June 11, 1952, in Greenwood, South Carolina, peacefully departed this life June 19th 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moses Bradley and was preceded in death by his daughter, Shequila Bradley; his sister, Stella Collier; and his brother, Joseph Bradley.

Moses received his early education in Greenwood and graduated from Brewer High School in 1971. He went on to attend South Carolina State University, continuing his commitment to learning and personal growth.

A gifted and passionate chef, Moses dedicated his life to the culinary arts. He worked as a master chef for several major hotels, including Holiday Inn, Clarion Town House, and Ramada Inn. His talents also served the community through his work at the Russell House at the University of South Carolina and cooking for soldiers stationed at Fort Jackson. His meals were more than food-they were expressions of care, culture, and connection.

Moses joined the church at an early age and lived a life guided by compassion and generosity. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand-or give his last-to someone in need. His kindness and spirit left an impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, TaSunda Bradley of Atlanta, GA; devoted stepson, Dedrick Griffin of Greenwood, SC; cherished granddaughter, Kajah McClendon of Greenwood, SC; and his beloved great-grandson, Josiah McClendon of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by his dear sister and brother-in-law, Jannie and Arthur Brown of Columbia, SC, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including a long time partner Garline Mosley and family who held a treasured place in his life.

Moses Bradley Jr. was a good man and a loyal friend-thoughtful, selfless, and always willing to brighten a room with his presence. His legacy of love, laughter, and service will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will truly be missed.

Services will be 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Mt. Zion A.M.E Church in Promised Land, Officiating will be Rev. Willie Neal Norman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be "No Public Viewing". Online condolences maybe sent to [email protected]. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.

It's just fitting that Moses would become a Master Chef. He was a great cook back when he was in high school, and a loyal and passionate friend who was always willing to help anyone. I'm so saddened to hear of his passing.

To all of his family and friends, may your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.
