Ray Culbertson Obituary
Born April 24, 1965, in Whitmire, SC, he was a son of Ray Talmadge Culbertson, Sr. and the late Peggy Ann Cook Heffner. He was a graduate of Whitmire High School and was employed with Gary Russ Chevrolet and Legacy Chevrolet. Ray also taught automotive repair at Piedmont Technical College. He was an avid car enthusiast and guitarist. Stan was a member of Ryan's Rod and Kustom in Ninety Six, SC.
Surviving in addition to his father, Ray T. Culbertson, Sr. (Paula) of Greenwood; a son, Jacob Taylor Culbertson (Hannah) of Greenville; a sister, Connie Culbertson (Aaron Grosdidier) of Bessmer City, NC; his Pitbull, Junior; and special friends, Michelle Richey and Chis Ryan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday at Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Pruitt officiating.
A private burial will be at Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 Wednesday afternoon.
The family would like to thank the staff of Self Regional Healthcare, home healthcare, and Hospice & Palliative Care for their care during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
