Raymond Quarles Obituary

Greenwood, SC- Raymond Quarles, 62, of 759 Truett Street, departed this walk of life on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his home. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Wilbert Quarles and the late Carrie Lujean Robinson Quarles Elam. He is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories, five brothers, Robert Lee Robinson of Greenwood, SC, Rev. Ricky (Casandra) Quarles of Troy, SC, Michael Quarles of the home, Roger Quarles of Augusta, GA, and Wilbur Leroy (Barbara) Robinson of Greenwood, SC; Nine sisters, Betty Jean Williams, Tammy (Edward) Williams, Patricia Fisher, Cheryl Lynn (Joey) Nicholson, Johnnie Mae Fuller, Lisa Tennant, Jackie Reid, and Tabitha Hinton all of Greenwood, SC, Georgia Mae Parks of McCormick, SC, and Robbie McDuffie of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Faith Christian Center, Officiating Rev. Eric Davis and Presiding Apostle Darlene Saxon. Burial will follow at the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected].
