T.R. Arnold Obituary
Born September 27, 1940, in Iva, he was a son of the late T.R. and Ellie Mae Lewis Arnold. Junior was a US Army veteran and retired with CSX Railroad. Also known as "Pop" by family and friends, he was an avid gardener who enjoyed his John Deere Tractor as well as flipping and working on cars. Pop enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and great-grandsons.
He attended St. Mark United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Susan Beauford (Johnny) of Abbeville; brother, John Thomas Arnold of Abbeville; and two sisters, Betty Jean Hughes and Doris Earline Holder (Larry), both of Greenwood; grandsons, John Robert Beauford (Samantha) and Blake Beauford (Becca Lagroon); and great-grandsons, Hayden and Baylor.
He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Linda Arnold.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Wilson officiating.
Entombment will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 Wednesday afternoon.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark U.M.C. 550 Bypass 72 NW, Greenwood, SC 29649.
