A woman of faith, Vanice was a longtime member of Laurel Baptist Church, where she found spiritual strength and a sense of community.

Per her wishes, no formal services will be held. The family is at the home of her grandson, Jason Wightman, 101 Tuscany Lane, Greenwood, SC 29649. Flowers and cards may be sent to this address as well.
