Adam was a role model a friend and a brother to me. I knew Adam while we were enrolled at Ave Maria together. My heart goes out to his Family, Maria and children. May he rest in the peace.

I didn't know Adam very long. The Boehm family moved in next door less than a year ago. Adam and I talked quite a bit back and forth. I really liked Adam a lot. I will miss him. May our Lord and Savior bless you all.

December 11, 2011

Adam may you find peace and comfort in the Lord. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family.

All of the memories of Adam always make me smile. He was truly a person who brought happiness and laughter into my childhood. From playing CYO soccer to our 8th grade Washington, DC trip, he managed to find humor in anything. There was never a dull moment when he was around.

Beneath the disarming sense of humor I also saw a big heart. Whenever I was having a bad day or just seemed bored in Mr. Carter's class, he would crack a joke or send me an instant message online after school. I'll never forget hanging out with him at Extended Care and talking about how cool it was that we both liked Dave Matthews Band when everyone else listened to NSync. Over time, I also witnessed his faith in God. At a high school retreat in Minneapolis, I remember seeing him break into tears during our silent hour of prayer. I'll never know what he was praying for, but I know for sure that his faith began to grow from that point forward.

My prayers are with the Boehm family- especially Kenny & Kelli, Fr. Dustin, Maria and their children- and with all of us who had the honor of being his friends. I wish I would've been in touch with him over the last few years, but I know I'll be seeing him someday in Heaven. May you rest in peace, Adam. You were one of a kind.

My memories of Adam are us as kids: running back and forth from each other's houses in the rain, playing ninja turtles, and exploring the neighborhood with our nerf bow and arrows. What a wonderful childhood friend! My heart and prayers go out to all the Boehm family. God be with you during this time.

I will never understand full what led to your tragic death, but I hope you're in such peace and comfort now. I will continue to pray for your family and close loved ones. They will NEVER be the same again nor experience Holidays without their sweet Adam to brighten their day. You were such a ball of energy and laughter that life truly seems weird without you in it.
LOVE for you and family. <3

Kelli and family, Just know that I have said prayers for Adam and for all of you and know that he is in a better place.I cannot imagine losing a child or a sibling. Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair but I'm sure that God had a plan. I believe Adam is now at peace but I am so sorry for the pain that you have to deal with on earth.

Fr. Dustin:
Words are always difficult during this tragic time of loss. We know your family mostly through your wonderful homilies. May the joy that you have shared with us bring comfort to your family as you celebrate Adam's homecoming. While he will be missed, how he touched others will always remain.

Maria Pimentel-Gannon

Truly there can be no words adequate enough to convey the pain and sorrow that a parent or a sibling can offer another at the death of their child or brother. We cannot begin to imagine how you must feel at this time. Even words of comfort feel shallow and seem to fall short of the job they are intended to do. However, as a people of faith, we offer these words of comfort, praying that you can grab onto them and that they will sustain you and carry you, especially through the mechanics of these difficult days. God comforts us through His Word, as we are reminded that nothing, not even death, can separate us from the love of God. It is our prayer that you would feel God's love and His embrace, as you face, try to make sense of, and try to deal with Adam's death. May the knowledge that all of you are loved by your friends all around you be a source of comfort for you at this time. With all our love, Jack Gannon and Maria, Jacqueline and Veronica Pimentel-Gannon
