Albert H. Peters Jr.

Albert Herman Peters, Jr. 83, of Carmel, died March 27, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel. Pete was born May 24, 1922 in Indianapolis to the late Albert H. and Vera Nicholas Peters. He married Barbara E. Sciscoe Peters in July of 1980. Pete graduated from what is now known as the University of Indianapolis, with a Bachelors degree in history. He worked for American Airlines for 40 years retiring in 1992. He proudly served his country in WWII in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife Barbara of twenty five years; two sons, Eric (Nancee) Peters and Mark Peters; step-daughter, Teresa Sciscoe; step-son, Marc (Tara) Sciscoe; two brothers, Alan Peters and Norman Peters; a sister, Harriett Allen and six grandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th St. A funeral service for Pete will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30 at the funeral home.
