Arthur Wadsworth Obituary

Arthur J. Wadsworth 97, passed quietly away at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove on Nov. 17, 2009 with his family by his side. Arthur was born in Indianapolis to the late Alverda and Rachel Wadsworth. Arthur would have been 98 on the 25th of this month and was the last of seven children. Arthur married Mary A. Lobb in 1949. He was a 31 year employee of Citizens Gas and Coke. He was an Army veteran of WWII and belonged to the Keystone Masonic Lodge #251 and the VFW #261. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Mary; three daughters, Judy (Bud) Neel, Linda Rabourn, and Joyce Radford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Nov. 20, 2009 at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. There will be an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. followed by a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sat., Nov. 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Military rites and burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery.
