Betty Delph Obituary

Betty F. Bullock Delph 62, of Atlanta, died Monday, August 29, 2005. She was born June 21, 1942 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late William Robert and Vonnie Lee (Smith) Bullock. She retired in 2003 from Indiana Farmers Insurance of Carmel, where she was employed for 40 years as an underwriter. She graduated in 1962 from Warren Central High School of Indianapolis. She was a member of Boxley United Methodist Church. She married Dale G. Delph on September 16, 1989, and he survives. In addition to her husband, survivors include three sons, Douglas Delph of Carmel, Grant Delph of Sheridan and Matthew Ingmeier of New York; one daughter, Melissa Keiser of Carmel; five grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Bullock of Michigan, Louis Bullock of Vevay and Rob Bullock of New Hampshire; two sisters, Wanda Brunning of Greencastle and Beverly Harris of Huntington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, a son, Dennis Delph and one brother, Norman Bullock. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2005 at Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the funeral home. Interment is in Union Cemetery, U.S. 31 North and 296th St. Atlanta, IN. Memorial contributions may be sent to The American Cancer Society.
