Brian was the kindest man I have ever known and I always looked forward to seeing him and talking with him. I am sorry for all the Hamblin's going through this tremendous loss. I know Brian was a great husband and father and anyone who knew him knows this as well. You are all in my prayers and thoughts.

Dear sister and family, thoughts and prayers go out to you from those of us way back home. Brian was always kind, warm and full of humor. He sure was an example of how to live a life filled with the richness of family and friends. The love he shared for those he touched deeply will continue to live on. It never dies.

I am deeply saddened. Sharon, June and your families you are all in my prayers. I share your grief.
My memories are of the "joker" coming to visit Des Moines from the home of Buick cars. Only twice did I travel to Flint. Once for a wedding and once for a funeral.

Hamlin Family -
We lost a strong, funny, witty, friendly and happy-go-lucky soldier this week. Yet, I can't help but think your husband, father, grandfather and my friend is up there dancing a jig and being welcomed by Miss Ashley, all the dogs and other family members that preceded him. May you find peace in knowing that he is no longer sick. I hope he saves us a seat at the table when balderdash is brought out for some "family" fun. Rest in Peace, Mr. Hamblin. With love and respect, Cindy Smith (and Scott, Parker, Corbin and Lucy)

The Hamblin household was always welcoming and full of fun. Mr. Hamblin put up with our group and showed us how a father and husband should act. My sympathy goes out to the entire Hamblin family, but it is accompanied by my thanks and gratitude for the kindness Brian and Sharron showed me all those years ago. God Bless!
