Brian Stinnett Obituary

Brian George Stinnett

Avon - It is with profound sadness that the family of Brian George Stinnett, 23, announces his passing on April 7th, 2018. Brian was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 21st, 1994 to Jeffery Brian Stinnett and Dawn Renee (Wilson) Stinnett. He attended Wayne Township schools through Junior High before moving to Avon with his family and graduating from Avon High School.

Brian became a father close to 2 years ago and he loved his son with all of his heart. He could often be found playing with all of the kids outside during family gatherings. Brian was funny and generous. If you were in need, he'd give you the shirt off of his back.

Brian was an amazing athlete and a fierce competitor in many sports including baseball, football and wrestling. While playing football at Avon High School, he won the Send Me Award for always offering to do whatever was needed on the field and the Shell Award for his dedication two years in a row. Brian earned a scholarship to Marian University for football where he played for one year. Brian was very skillful with his hands and used these talents after college in construction work.

Brian is survived by his son Bentley William Stinnett (mother Lauren Poteet), his parents, Jeff and Dawn Stinnett, and his siblings, Amber Agal (John) and Kevin Stinnett (Rebecca). He is also survived by his grandmothers, Marie Kalen and Janet Wilson, his uncle, Randy Stinnett (Melinda), his aunts, Susanne Stinnett (Angie) and Gina Wilson Schenk (Joe), 2 nieces, 3 nephews and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Steve Stinnett and George Wilson.

Visitation for Brian will be held on April 13th, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Conkle Funeral Home located at 76 North Avon Avenue, Avon, Indiana. A prayer service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. www.conklefuneralhome.com

Its almost been 2 years since your passing and I still find myself struggling with it. You show up in my random dreams a lot, not really sure what that means though.
Just because youre gone doesnt mean anyone has forgotten you. Hope you know that.

Brian,
Words can not explain how much I'm going to miss you. You were my baby brother and one of my best friends. I could tell you anything and you were always there for me. Not a day in my life will go by that I won't miss you, a piece of me is gone now that you are gone. Things will never be the same without you. I have so many memories with you growing up just wish I could have more and loved you more than you will ever know. Love you always and forever
My brother, My best friend, Forever in my heart
