Clifford Simpson
86, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 11, 2014. He was known by his family and friends as a man of great patience and a gentle spirit. Clifford Simpson was a loving husband and father, and was faithful to both God and the Church. A decorated Korean War veteran, he went on to achieve a 42-year career with U.S. Postal Service. At home, he could often be found in his yard and garden, which he loved. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Hulda; sons, Stephen (Monya) and Anthony Simpson; daughter, Tina Simpson; brother, James (Delores) Simpson; sisters, Helen Simpson, Rita Walker, Gertrude Anderson and Mildred Smith; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly, with calling from 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bluitt and Son Funeral Home .
