Craig Herbert Obituary

Craig Steven Herbert 34, of Fortville passed away March 6, 2005. Craig was born November 4, 1970 in Rushville, Indiana. Craig was a Patrolman with the Lawrence Police Department five years and a member of their SWAT Team. He was a 12-year Army veteran. He previously was a member of the Fortville Police Department. Craig was a member of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #159 and American Legion Post #115, Rushville, Indiana. Craig is survived by his wife, Windi (Liscomb) Herbert; two sons, Austin and Caleb Herbert; his mother and step-father Andrea and Raymond Macy; his father and step-mother John and Darla Herbert; his brothers Ron and wife Amy, John and wife Vicki, Kevin and wife Jessica, and Ryan and wife Michelle; step brother Jay Macy and wife Jackie; step sisters Diana Alford, Angie Green and husband Kevin, and Jackie Bailey; his maternal grandmother Thelma Middleton; his parents-in-law Doug and Brenda Liscomb Martin and Steve and Yvonne Liscomb; his paternal grandmothers-in-law Viola Coleman and Delores Eads; sister-in-law Tina Davenport and husband Shawn; brother-in-law Steve Liscomb and Kim; and several nieces and nephews. His maternal grandparents Edna Marie Sexson and Harlan A. Roberts and paternal grandparents Rosie M. Herbert and John L. Herbert preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Friday March 11, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Calvary Temple of Indianapolis, 2901 N. Post Rd., where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005. Interment will be in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Herbert Family Memorial Fund co any branch of Indiana Members Credit Union. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
