David Bortlein Obituary
David L. Bortlein
54, of Brown County, passed away June 1, 2012. He was born October 9, 1957 in Indianapolis. David served in the United States Air Force. David loved his family, enjoyed spending time with his many friends, and was an avid hunter. Survivors include his mother, Janet O'Donnell Bortlein; sister, Kathy (Robert) Warden; fiancé, Beth Zink; nieces, Kimberly, Morgan; great niece, Ashlyn; step-son, Bill Saillant and his beloved dog, Mollie Sue. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 4 in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home , 5141 Madison Avenue. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5 in the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be shared with the family at: http://www.ghherrmann.com

Well Dave it has been 2 months now, and i sure do miss you. I dream about you and i talk to you all the time, I'm watching over mom myself, but she is having a hard time still. We both love you and miss you so much, tell grandma and grandpa hello and we send our love to them. I will write to you every month so be prepared. Love you Sis xxoo

Well my one and only brother, it has been one month and 7 day's since you left mom and me, and boy do we miss you. We came to see you and mom did okay, I will takecare of mom for you and many other friends of moms, they will be there to help her if she needs it.
