I´m so heart broken to hear of Mrs. Hopper´s passing. "Hopper" created a support group when I was in high school and got me through very difficult times. She made a huge difference in my life. I wish I could tell her today!

I was in the first class she taught when she was right out of college. It was during the 1971-72 school year. During that school year, she went from being Miss Phillips to Mrs. Hopper. I was saddened to hear of her passing and my heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Hopper and the rest of her family.

My heart is sad. Mrs Hopper was a great and fun teacher. I had her as my teacher when I was in third grade at College Avenue. I had just moved to that school from another school. I was nervous to be in a new school and new class. Mrs. Hopper made it an easy transition for me. My daughter who is 15 had her for a substitute teacher and loved her. She will be missed here on earth. Please know that your family will be in my thoughts as you grieve for her.

What joy you brought to my life and the lives of all who knew you. You always amazed me with how you could juggle family and work while taking more classes. Thank God you were there with me when we took our girls camping for Brownies. You assured me they would be able to cook on their tin cans. I still think we should have called out for pizza. Dan, Shannon and Andrea were so blessed to have you for a loving wife and mother. I know how much you enjoyed being a grandmother.
Thank-you for all the beautiful memories I have of you! Till we hug again.
