Donald B. "Goose" Gosser
68, Mooresville, passed away November 30, 2013. Don was born in Danville, KY on October 5, 1945 to parents, Boyce Gosser and Retha (Wilson) Hunt. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a Machine Repairman for GM for 33 years, retiring in 2000. Following retirement, Don worked the last 13 years in guest relations with Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers. Don was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 103.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Boyce and one brother. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Kathy M. (Vandermark) Gosser; children: Donna M. (Doug) Fredrick, Paul D. (Jan) Gosser and David P. (Cindy) Gosser; six grandchildren; mother; two sisters and one brother.
Calling will be held from 4 until 9 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 in Flanner and Buchanan- Decatur , where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to IU Health Hospice, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church or the donor's favorite charity.
