DONALD KOLB Obituary
Donald Albert Kolb, 81, of Marshall Twp., formerly of Ross, on Friday, January 25, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Joan D. (Roehren) Kolb; dear friend of LaRaine Bahle of Shaler; loving father of Kim Kolb and husband Tom Jaenicke of Charlevoix, MI, Lynn Kolb and companion Greg Roberts of Ross Twp. and Leslie Adam and husband Paul of Wexford, PA; grandfather of Sara and Billy Scherer, Brian and Drew Adam and Tammy Roehm and husband Chris; great-grandfather of Cam and Allie Roehm; preceded in death by sister, Doris Narsico. Mr. Kolb was a 1948 graduate of West View H.S., retiree of Bell Telephone (Verizon), member of the Quaill V.F.D. where he served as Chief, and former Boy Scout Leader. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9 at Christ Lutheran Church, 157 Peony Ave., Ross Twp. No flowers, please. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Quaill V.F.D, 50 Gass Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15229. Arrangements by McDONALD-LINN FUNERAL HOME, INC., Avalon.

To the Kolb Family: Our deepest sympathy
in your loss. We were neighbors of Don for elevan years and he was a wonderful neighbor. He was always so pleasant and kind. We were sorry for his suffering but know he is in a better place. Sincerely

To the Kolb family - I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere sadness at Don's passing. I have been sitting next to Don during our dialysis sessions for over a year now and not a single time went by when Don didn't have a cheerful hello for me despite any issues he was going through. He made a difficult situation for me brighter. He was a very good man and he will be very much missed.

To the Kolb family, My sincerest condolences at this time of your loss. Don was chief of Quaill when I first walked in the door in December of 1977 and applied to become a junior member; I haven't left since. He was an outstanding mentor and a the true definition of a gentleman.
