Donna Spears Obituary

Donna Spears

Indianapolis - Donna L. Spears, 78, of Indianapolis and Burkesville, KY, passed away November 15, 2020. She was born May 23, 1942 to the late Harland Dale Mace Sr. and Lorene K. Mace. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Willie Spears and her two brothers, Harland Dale Mace Jr. and Richard Mace. Donna is survived by her daughters, Dana Wright Beesley (Mike) and Dawn Wright Childress (John); granddaughters, Erin and Tessa Beesley; and grandsons, Samuel and Ethan Childress. She also leaves behind a very large and loved adoptive Spears family. Donna wore many hats in her life, from dental assistant, school secretary at Warren Township, gift shop clerk, and grocery check out! Her love of life and people did not go unnoticed. She wanted everyone to know she loves them, she took a stacked deck of euchre cards, and Parkinson's sucks! Keep fighting!

Memorial contributions may be made to Rock Steady Boxing, 6847 Hillsdale Ct., Indianapolis, IN, 46250. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 20, at 3 PM, at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46229.
