Edward Shay Obituary

Edward J. Shay

87, passed away on September 17, 2016. He was born June 30, 1929 in Kokomo, IN.

Ed served with United States Army and was awarded the Purple Heart after losing his lower leg in combat. He retired from Chrysler Transmission.

Edward is survived by his son, Brent Shay (Terri) of Plainfield, IN; Daughters Lisa (Ed) Rhodes, and Michelle (John) Crump of Mooresville, IN.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, his daughter:  Debbie Ann Shay.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Kokomo. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Indy Honor Flight, PO Box 10, Plainfield, IN 46168.
