Elfrieda Staehler Obituary
Fortville - 80, passed away October 21, 2018. She was born June 27, 1938 in Washington County, WI, to the late Herman and Rosalia Vollmer. Elfrieda was a 1956 graduate of Kewaskum High School, WI. She was employed as a purchasing agent for the Department of Defense, Fort Benjamin Harrison for 38 years, retiring August of 2018. Elfrieda was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 6944 E. 46th St.
Elfrieda is survived by her children, Charles "Chuck" Staehler (Sandy), James M. Staehler (Jeannie), Cynthia J. Beckman (Daniel) and Jay D. Staehler (Carol); grandchildren, Ashley Elrod (Zachary), Wesley Richter (Brooke), Benjamin J. Richter (Cailee), Todd Staehler, Allyse Staehler, Colton Romanyk, Jacob Romanyk, Madison Romanyk, Joseph Romanyk, Joshua Staehler, Gracen Staehler and Alexandra Staehler; great-grandchildren, Drake, Avery, Amelia and Landon; and sisters, Althea Falter (Frank), Lavila Wilson, Rosalie Follmann (Reiney) and Caroline Dahlem. Three brothers-in-law, Larry Wilson, Bruce Dahlem and Al Bremser, preceded her in death.
