Elmer T. "Buddy" Napier
70, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 11, 2013 at his home. Mr. Napier is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carole Faye Napier. He is also survived by his son, Scott and his wife, Shannon; daughter, Glynda and her husband, Wayne. Elmer is also survived by brothers, Gary and Rick; sisters, Nanadean, Wanda, Sherry and Katie; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services for Elmer are 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Usher Funeral Home . Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Bud, It was a honor to have met you, and your hospitiliy towards me when I would come out there for the INDY 500 and The Brickyard. And for being there for my brother Jamie. For those who you let into to your life would never leave hungry. You always helped anyone who needed it. Thank you for letting me stay at your home. (I can't express this enough)when I was in town. Tell Jake bow wow for me. Now you two will be together again. Remember the Monte Carlo............You take care my friend the Pearl gates are now at your view. Be safe and watch down on us all. Bud you were an inspreation in my life you will be missed by the ones who you have touched. I'm glad I did get to see you on Sunday, I will miss you thanks for all you have done. “May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back.
