Etta Mae Stokes Green
86, Indianapolis, passed away on January 20, 2013.
She was an active member of Scott United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, had served on the Culinary Committee, United Methodist Women, Feed the Hungry and was Chair of Membership and Missions.
On Saturday, January 26, 2013 there will be visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with The Celebration of Life Services at 12 p.m. at Scott United Methodist Church with entombment at New Crown.
The widow of Louie Edward Green, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Fred, Sr., and Lavesta Stokes; sister, Helen Vinson, and brothers Fred, Jr., and John Stokes.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sandra, Anthony and Steven Green (Vernessa) and Joyce Green Banks; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Carrie and Betty Stokes, Juanita Tandy (George) and Rhoda Tunstell (Henry) and brother, George A. Stokes.
