F. Becker Obituary

F. Kenneth Becker F. Kenneth Becker passed away Saturday, January 27, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospice. He was born April 20, 1922 in Evansville, IN to the late Frank and Mildred Bredenkamp Becker. He married Phyllis Jean Emsweller on April 29, 1945 in First Baptist Church, Terre Haute, IN. Mr. Becker was a World War II veteran, serving as a Port Director in Yokosuka, Japan. Spending nearly 45 years in the floor covering industry, he worked for Small & Schelosky, Co., Mohawk Distributors and Salem Carpet Mills before retiring in 1987. Mr. Becker is a past-president of the Irvington Dance Club and 50 year member of the Riviera Club, having served as President of the Past Presidents and as a member of the Board of Managers. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Jean Becker; daughters, Kendra (Tim) Lewis and Rhonda (Dick) Feldman; granddaughters, Missy Lewis, Jill Feldman and Denise Feldman. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th St., Indianapolis.
