Foster Gutenson

79, Indianapolis, passed away January 19, 2013. He was born December 2, 1933 at Waynesburg, KY to the late Arthur and Laura Sims Gutenson. He married Katherine "Kay" Schumacher on February 17, 1973 at Cincinnati, OH, and she survives. He was employed 30 years by Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and UAW Local #933. Other survivors include his sister Mary Motz of Goshen, OH; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Arthur and Joseph Gutenson; and sisters Oma Carter and Silma Stempfly. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 21, in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation two hours prior to the service at the mortuary. Private burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Cincinnati, OH. Memorial gifts have been suggested to St. John's United Church of Christ, 7031 S.
