George...what a difference you made in our lives. I still mention your name although it's been 8 years since seeing you. You brought David and I much comfort as we were newly married and were searching for wisdom in blending our families together. You were writing your book when we last visited. This is sad and surprising to learn. You really did make a difference. Peace be with you. Gigi Clifford

Georgie! I just called you.......NOW I know why you were so on my mind a couple months back. A brief search tells me that God has called you Home. Tears, a grin, and a sigh of comfort expel.....you are HOME!! You are envied. lol
I love you, buddy. I loved your heart. I loved your soul. I loved your gift of exhortation delivered straight from Heaven above!
And God sure knew what He was doing when He sent me to you. The time we spent, the stories shared, the confessions given. Golly, the tears I cried and the laughs we laughed....oh we laughed. All with the purpose of finding my Christine-ness. And find it, we did. :-)
Because of you, George, I changed the way I looked at the world and the world around me changed. My way became easier, lighter as the layers peeled off. DESERVING of receiving God's love, deserving of receiving love from others, my lenses clearly focused. A trip well worth the efforts.
I am forever thankful, forever grateful for you, for your teachings. To this day your voice is still heard. Your words still clear, remain relevant, remain true. And for those that allow it, I pay them forward in hopes that they, too, may be enlightened.
Because of your George-ness, I am Christine......it is a beautiful thing. Thank you kindly.
See you again, my friend!

I have such fabulous memories of George... Spending time with him over dinner, talking with he and Lonni for hours. He always made me laugh...and think. He had such a heart for people and for helping them to live life well. I remember him telling me about how I needed to learn to use a new muscle when responding to people and situations that weren't healthy. Once he took us for a ride in his red convertible. He and Lonni were such a comfort to me when I first moved to Fishers nearly ten years ago. I feel so blessed that both he and Lonni were there to dance at my wedding to Sam in 2013. My heart aches for Lonni and for all of his family. I know he was a much beloved brother and uncle. Love and prayers for his family. He will be truly missed...but never forgotten!

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
