Dr.King performed open heart surgery on me on August 12,1970 and 47 years later I'm alive and well. I was 15 and scared to death but this great man was a master surgeon and after telling my parents it was touch and go pulled me through it. God rest your soul Dr.King and thank you again!

I just happened to be researching my medical history this week and decided to learn more about my surgeon. Dr. King was my cardiothoracic surgeon in 1978 and has given 40+ of life. Thank you Dr. King, may you rest in peace.

Dr. King will be someone we will always remember. He performed 2 surgeries on our son when we was young. He was born with Down Syndrome and had the AV canal. Our son is now 32 and is in very good health and a blessing to everyone he meets. God bless your family.

Dr. King will always be lovingly remembered for performing an atrial septal defect repair on our two-year-old son, Cormack, at Riley Children's Hospital. It was successful and today our son is healthy and happy. The professionalism and encouragement he offered us was soothing during our time of challenge. Today, our son is a registered nurse because of his early association with his surgery and hospital stay in March 1990. God Bless Dr. King and his family! He was a wonderful man and talented surgeon!
