Heather Norris Obituary

Heather Nicole Ancelet Norris 20, of Indianapolis. Heather's life was tragically cut short in April 2007. She attended St. Roch Catholic School through 6th grade and then transferred to Perry Meridian, where she graduated in 2005 and went on to Indiana University her freshman year. Heather was very active in sports from an early age. She played volleyball, softball but her passion was basketball. Heather played basketball for Perry Meridian and during the summer she played for traveling AAU teams. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her laughter and smile. Heather was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jean Ancelet Sr, She is survived by her mother, Deborah Norris; father Edwin Ancelet; grandparents Kenneth and Sandra Norris and Yvonna Ancelet: numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations can be made at any Chase Bank under Heather's Voice, which will go to educate teens on Domestic Violence andor The Heather Norris Memorial Scholarship at CIS Community Federal Credit Union, 8936 Southpointe Drive, Suite C6, Indianapolis, IN 46227, which will be awarded to a girls basketball player from Perry Meridian High School each year. A public memorial service will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday July 8, 2007 in the gymnasium at St. Roch School, 3603 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
