Helen L. Viles

Helen Viles Obituary

Helen L. Wick Viles 85, Plainfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 27 at the Hearth of Prestwick. She was born on November 14, 1920 in Indianapolis to the late Henry and Loraine Sachs Wick. She married Gerald Viles in 1944; he preceded her in death on January 9, 1988. She was a homemaker. Helen had a special place in her heart for Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Helen is survived by her children, Patricia Branham, Helen Kirkham, Vickie Moore, Jennifer Strakis, Kathy Weathers, Geraldine Gardner, and Jerry Viles; brother, Bill Wick; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 29, at 2 p.m. in Hall Baker Funeral Home, with Ron May officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 1 p.m. until the service. Burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery.
