James Downing Obituary
James was originally from Indianapolis, IN, he graduated from Northwest High School and I.U School of Law. Jim worked 30 years for Bridgestone and his most recent position at his time of retirement was General Counsel of Bridgestone Retail Operations in the Chicago area. He retired to Palm Harbor, FL with his wife Susan Carroll Downing who survives. He is also survived by his children Jennifer Query (Nic) , Marcy Bearden ,Scott Downing and stepson Christopher Carroll. Grandchildren include Billy Day, Nathan Day, Jude Bearden, Dale Bearden, Miranda Carroll and Rebekah Carroll. Jim is also survived by a sister Robin Smith (Dan) and David Downing ( Deborah).
Jim passed away from Covid 19 pneumonia on December 16,2020. No services are planned, any donations can be made to the Covid Frontline Relief Fund @Directrelief,org.
