Jesse Trice Obituary

Jesse J. Trice, 74, Indianapolis, born in Trenton, KY., died Feb. 8, 2003. He worked 37 years for Power & Light Company, retiring in 1991. One of his greatest contributions to the Southside community during the term Senator Lugar served as Mayor of Indianapolis, Jesse incorporated and became the president of a non-profit organization called Neighborhood Pride, Inc. He is survived by four daughters Karen Skipwith, Marcelyn Williams, Debbie Howard, Jo Alice Page and son Geron Porter; brother Joe Trice; sisters Willie Stevenson, Hilda Trice, Mary Lizzie Trice, Louvenia Quarles; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Sat. Feb. 15th at 1 p.m., with calling from noon.
