Jill Rogers Obituary

Jill P. Rogers

48, passed away April 17. She was the second child of the late Bob and Betty Rogers. She proudly attended Franklin Central High School. Later, she attended Arizona State University before receiving her bachelor's degree in accounting from IUPUI. She had been a promising student at Ivy Tech, studying Respiratory Therapy. She was very intelligent, trustworthy, and engaging. These traits served her well in her career as a talented and dedicated job recruiter and Human Resource manager. She had worked at K-Force, Schwab, and Core BTS. She was also very responsible and prided herself in having never paid a bill late. Jill was fascinated by people, had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved her husband and two pet shnauzers-Kirby and Brodie. She is survived by husband, Rex Bernard; brother, Bob Rogers, and nephew, Matt Rogers. A private Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 20. She will be sadly missed by family, friends, and the many people she touched throughout her life. Online condolences can be made at http://www.indianamemorial.com.

Another year without seeing your sparkling eyes or hearing your gentle voice, dearest Jill. So many regrets....so much I should have done to intervene when I knew you were in pain. I'll value our friendship for eternity. Until I see you again, my friend. Continued Rest In Peace...Godspeed

I can't believe it's been 6 years since you left us. I think about you everyday and wish we could have had one more conversation together. I miss your beautiful smile, your entrancing eyes and adorable laugh. I wish I could have made more of a difference in your life near the end. I think I could have changed the outcome of things...but I always respected your limits during our conversations. I'll never forget you, dear friend and I'll always love you. Continued rest in peace...✝ Love, Alan

Jillbone, tomorrow will be one year since you've been gone. My heart is still heavy with grief. The babies and I miss you so much! We're just not a family without you. We need our mommy back! It's so cruel that you're not here with us, sharing our dream of watching Kirby and Brody grow to be grumpy old dogs. We had it all, baby. I'm so sorry that you couldn't be here to enjoy our golden years. Love and miss you

If I should go tomorrow, it would never be goodbye, For I have left my heart with you, so don't you ever cry.The love that's deep within me, shall reach you from the stars, you'll feel it from the heavens, and it will heal the scars. If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; If I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin into his nest again , I shall not live in vain. Jill, Jill, Jill...I hope you can see us and how much we love you and gonna miss you ?

I will always see you as the loving mother figure you were. I enjoyed getting to know you and hope to see you again. I love you Jill and I wish it could all be taken back. You'll always be remembered for the greatness you bestowed and your kindness like everytime you got up early just to pick up McDonald's for us at 6am and we all go back to sleep. I hope you rest easy now.
