John Hutson Obituary

John Leedom "Jack" Hutson, Sr. 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006. Born October 19, 1934 in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of George Kenneth and Katherine (Leedom) Hutson, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hutson was the founder of Hutson & Sons Boiler and Welding since March of 1978. He attended Emmanuel of Greenwood, and retired from the Boiler and Pressure State Board of Directors after 10 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. (Terrell) Hutson, whom he married May 16, 1953 in Danville, IN; his two sons, John L. Hutson, Jr. and Christopher H. Hutson; eight grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the Emmanuel of Greenwood Church, 1640 W. Stones Crossing Rd., Greenwood, with burial at Round Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, November 16, 2006 from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. in the G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, and from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6030 W. 62nd Street, Indianapolis, In 46278.
