John Wyatt Jr.

John Wyatt, Jr. 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005 in his residence. He was born September 14, 1922 in Bridgeport, IN, to the late John Sr. and Minnie (Karlish) Wyatt. He retired as a supervisor in 1987 after over 20 years with the Indianapolis Department of Transportation. In his early years he helped his father grow tomatoes in Bridgeport for Stokley VanKamp. A funeral service will be Monday October 24, at 1:00 p.m. in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Survivors include his former wife, Velma Myers; children, David Wyatt, Cindy Dale and Rebecca Myers; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. www.hamptongentry.com
