Judith Jones Obituary

Judith Lynn Rohr Jones 48, Indianapolis, born February 11, 1958, passed way at her residence on February 9. Judy devoted her life to her family and friends. She was employed most recently with Companion Care of Indianapolis. Judy found much joy in working as an advocate for children and young adults with special needs. Her genrous and kind nature touched many people. Judy attended Northwest High School and married Steven E. Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents: William Joseph Rohr and June Ellen Thomas Rohr. She is survived by her first love of 32 years, Steven E. Jones, her beloved daughter Brandy Lyn Jones Rickard (Bud); her sons, Jared Rohr Jones and Steven Levi Jones; sister, Nancy Rohr Curtis (Bryan); brother, Thomas Rohr(Jennifer); grandson, Bobby; four nephews; Joseph, Thomas, William, and Quenton; two nieces, Ashley and Jamie; a great nephew and great niece; her extended family in Twelve Mile Indiana and Winamac, IN, and her many close friends. Judy will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she has touched. The family would like to thank all of the healthcare providers at Indiana University Hospital for their compassionate care during her prolonged stay there. Funeral arrangements were made through Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway. The showing will be on Thursday, February 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with service at 8 p.m. Friends and family will gather after the service. Contributions may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
