Karen Westermann Obituary
Karen was the life of the party! Her sense of humor and infectious smile lit up every room. She was a very talented singer as well. Karen was tough and beautiful and will be missed greatly by her friends and family.
Karen was preceded in death by her father Melvin Mahurin; her mother Mildred Mahurin; sister Kathleen D. Pool; and brother Melvin K. (Butch) Mahurin. Survivors include two sisters, Faith Ellen Mahurin Chapman; and Grace Labens Mason; brother Mark Mahurin; sons Jeremy Gioscio and his wife Aubrey Gioscio; Josey Westermann; and Kristopher Westermann and his wife Laura Westermann. Survivors also include a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Celebration of Life service for Karen Westermann will be at the Bible Study Chapel at 2368 N Spencer Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana on Wednesday November 5th, 2025. The gathering begins at 4:00 pm. Flowers may be delivered between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
