LaJoy Desiree Perkins Foust
34, Indianapolis, passed away August 6, 2012. She was born on June 10, 1978. She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Curtis Lee Foust, Sr.; son, Curtis Lee Foust, Jr.; parents, Darryl W. and Debra L. Perkins; brother, Martino L. Perkins, Sr., grandmother, Clara Lee Perkins; nephews, Mason and Martino L. Perkins, Jr.
The funeral is at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 13 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with visitation there from 11:00 AM until service time. The burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Lavenia & Summers Home for Funerals. Family and friends may sign the guest book at http://www.laveniasummers.com.

I worked with LaJoy at the VA Hospital and she was a wonderful woman. She talked about her son all the time and mentioned how proud she was of him. It broke my heart to hear of her "going home" to meet our Father so soon. But Jesus has a plan and there is never a mistake. Miss and Love you LaJoy.

On behalf of Grace Memorial Missionary Bapitist Church, we pray for the family of Lajoy Foust. Curtis which is Lajoy's husband use to cut my son's hair. I was so very, very sad when I got word about LaJoy; the news broke my heart. Look to God for the strength to get through this difficult time of loss and grief. Keep your faith and trust in Him. I am sadden by the news of Joy's Home Going. I lived three doors down the street from Joy and her family from the time she was a little girl until she graudated from High School . Joy was great friend to my son Maurice and the first employee I hired for my catering bussiness. What a wonderful and a gentle spirit she was. Joy will leave a hole in many lives,but remember Jesus is anointed to heal the broken hearted.

Wow! My flesh encourages my heart to be sadden, yet my spirit is content because there is NO DOUBT in my mind that LaJoy is in Heaven and no longer in pain. Although I have not seen LaJoy in a few years I am thankful that God allowed me the opportunity to know Joy. Her smile could brighten a day. One thing that I know about Joy from our personal talks is that she loves her husband, son and family. Joy's death tells us 2 things: #1 Life is very short..so cherish each day as if it were your last & #2 Our faith must remain solid even when times get rough. I work with LaJoy at the VA Hospital from the time she started to work until I retired 5 years ago. Her pride and joy was her children. She always had a proud sense of joy that she was whipping her cancer she had. We had many happy moments sharng our families together. I am sorry for your lost but I wish God's richest blessings to you and her family and God will carry you through this time of loss.
