Lari Ketner Obituary
Lari A. Ketner
37, died October 10, 2014. Visitation, Friday, October 17 from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a musical at 7 p.m., with additional visitation on Saturday, October 18th at 10 a.m. until service time at Noon, all in New Haven Missionary Baptist Church, 3418 N. Schofield. He was the loving husband of Aquarius Ketner; father of Tairi, Touari and Triniti Ketner; two step-children, Joharie Fields and Michael Priest, Jr.; his mother, Cynthia Wright (Gerald); two brothers, Walter Ketner and Jason Jenkins (Barbara); one sister, Ashley Hill (Simar); also survived by a host of in-laws and other family members. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals . Family and friends may sign the guestbook at:

It is with shock and great sadness to learn of Lari's passing. I had the honor and pleasure of sharing a table with Lari and his wonderful family at the Roman Catholic Hall of Fame induction ceremony and proud of the impression you all made upon my then 10 year old son. You are in our prayers and will always hold a special place in the hearts of all Cahillites. Bill Carr, Roman Basketball, Class of '87.

The love you both had for each other is truly one of the greatest love stories that has ever been told. Lari had a presence about him that lit up a room. Beyond the height, he was a man that commanded attentiion with his million dollar smile, stellar personality and booming voice. While I didn't know him that well, I know that he loved God, Aquarius, his family and was adored and loved by many and will be missed.

Lari was loved by his Memphis family we prayed so hard, and we are still praying for you Pooh and the family God will see you though this cause here he was in so much pain, now he's in God arms smiling and in no pain, just keep praying and loving him and it's going to be alright.
