Larry Lee Luker
74, Clayton, passed away January 5, 2015. Born March 7, 1940 in Franklin County, Indiana, he was the son of Lowell and Marjorie Lewis Luker. He married Sylvia Book and she survives. Larry was a tool and die maker for 44 years at Allisons and Rolls Royce. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and building wood chests and gun racks in the 1800's style. He was a member of the Thunder Creek Club Long Rifle. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Luker; children, Kathy (Chris) Crawford of Carmel, Annette (Mike) Massing of Lantana, TX; brother, Brent Luker of San Diego, CA; sister, Robin Henry of Martinsville; grandchildren, C. Chase, Lauren, Mitchell; step grandchildren, Jason and Chelsea. His parents and brother, Greg Luker, preceded him in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home , Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one's favorite animal shelter. I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He and Sylvia have been good friends and neighbors to both my parents. I know my dad enjoyed his friendship and playing music with him.
