Linda Marie Peters

age 64, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at her home in Indianapolis, IN. She was born in South Bend, IN to parents Marvin J. Baldwin and Adelle Kolupa-Baldwin-Shepherd. Linda had her formative years in Catholic school, graduated high school and the proceeded to the House of James Beauty College all in South Bend, IN.

Linda was the beloved wife of Michael for 44 years, mother of their 2 children, and her 6 grandkids were the apple of her eye. She was a current Department Lead of Rx for CVS Distribution Center. her 30 years of service dates back to the former Revco and the original Hook's Drug Photo Lab.

Linda had a knack for home décor, crafts, enjoyed antique or flea markets, consignment stores, would stop at a good yard sale, and most often be located at Greenwood Mall or her personal favorite Kohl's. She has an extensive collection of Fenton glassware, Campbell's soup décor and Hallmark ornaments. Her cat Winnie always slept on her bed.

Survivors include: husband Michael Peters, daughter Leslie Jensen (Joseph), son Jacob Peters (Paula), 6 grandchildren Lane and Lexi, Leah, Riley, Michelle and Charli, sister Christina McDonough, and brother Michael Baldwin. She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Funeral services are with Oakley Hammond Funeral Home located at 5342 E. Washington St. Visitation is Saturday, June 20th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with memorial service beginning at 6:00.
