Louise Butler Obituary

Louise Pretorius Butler Indianapolis, died February 5, 2008. She was born March 15, 1916 in Urbana, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late George and Leah Pretorius. Louise was a 50 plus year member of Delta Theta Tau Philanthropic Sorority, and a member of the Indianapolis Museum of Art and its Alliance. She volunteered for many years for the museum's operating fund drive and was a long time volunteer at the Museum's Better Than New Shop. She was also a life long member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. Louise is survived by her two sons, Kent E. Butler (Susan) and Gregg E. Butler (Angie); grandsons, Mark Edward Butler, William Eggleston Butler, Samuel Elliott Butler and Brian Andrew Butler; great-grandson, Owen E. Butler and great-granddaughter, Ashley Graham Butler. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her brothers, Eugene, Donald and Robert Pretorius. A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, February 11 at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, Indianaplis.
