Luria Herdrich

Luria "Peggy" Herdrich Passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010. The Lifelong Hoosier and Democrat was 86 years old. Peggy was born in Cloverdale, Indiana to Otho and Lora D. (Quinnette) Cummings. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William F. Herdrich; her son, Marc A. Herdrich; her parents and siblings, Daphne E., George and Doyle Cummings, Doreen Henzman, Mary Mull and Anne Downs. She is survived by her son, W. Fritz Herdrich; daughter-in-law, Kathy L. Ostling and granddaughter, Jessie E. Herdrich and her sister Imogene Owen. Peggy had a lifelong passion for dolls and sewing. She was an excellent life teacher and placed a high value on education. Peggy worked in the auto sales industry for twenty years and passed on her legacy of hard work and detailed craftsmanship. Her family and friends were very important to her and she loved all of them dearly. Services will be Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time at the center. Entombment to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
