Marlene Benjamin Obituary

Marlene C. Benjamin 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 23, 2010. She was born on September 21st 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked for Kerman's Fine Flooring and was also a homemaker. She was an active leader of the Girl Scouts of America and also was a member of the Humane Society, The Garden Club, as well as the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She earned the Girl Scout Leadership Award as well as the Floral Design Award. Marlene loved animals. Survivors include her son, Mike Benjamin(Debra); daughter, Michele Jallal (James); stepdaughter, Colleen Brown (Tracy); grandchildren, Laura and Jennifer Benjamin, John and Anisa Jallal, Katie and McKennah Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jimmy Mundorf , and her Uncle Sylvester and Aunt Marie Rickert. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the memorial service starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel.
