Michael J. "Mike" Boyce
47, of Indianapolis, passed away December 30, 2011. He was born April 5, 1964, in Indianapolis to Robert and Patsy Ison Boyce.
Mike graduated from Southport High School and served in the U. S. Army. He married Cynthia S. Tarvin, June 27, 1992.
Mike worked in security at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and attended Ford St. United Methodist Church in Lapel, IN.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Ford St. United Methodist Church, 925 Ford St., Lapel, IN, with Pastor Stephen P. Holdzkom officiating.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Cindy S. Boyce; son, Sean M. Boyce; daughter, Amanda N. Boyce; mother, Patsy Boyce; brother, John Boyce; sister Joanna Cooney; and a nephew, Zackary Cooney. His father, Robert Boyce and uncle, Larry J. Ison, preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Ford St. United Methodist Church.

I knew "Big Mike" through work at the Fieldhouse. His sense of humor and smiling face and his consistent willingness to always help will be sadly missed. My sincerest condolences to Big Mike's family.
